First, thank you for the opportunity to test the Windstopper GORTEX Forum
jacket as a daily piece of uniform.
During my evaluation period, covering approximately 10 weeks; I have had the
opportunity to wear the garment in snow, wind and rain, all in a variety of
temperatures ranging from sub-zero to the 70's. I find the garment
exceptionally comfortable and wearable in all conditions regardless of the
elements or temperature. Body temperatures seem to regulate accordingly when
going from inside to outside and when wearing the garment from sub-zero to
warm climates making it an ideal All-Season garment.
Adjustments I would recommend would include..
1) lining all pockets on both sides with the fleece like material
instead of just one side
2) Potentially making one of the exterior breast pockets an interior
3) Using smaller/thinner eyelets on the badge tab; currently for usage
it was necessary to bend the securing pin slightly to make it fit.
I would recommend this garment for professional by the agency and if
available within the private sector, I would purchase one for my personal
